Capitalmind Investec advised the sole owner of Permanence Marktplatz Oerlikon on its sale to Genui
About the deal
Permanence Marktplatz Oerlikon is the largest private outpatient emergency care provider in Switzerland operating a leading walk-in medical center in a central location in Zurich for the efficient initial treatment of emergencies on a walk-in principle.
With a team of over 25 doctors, more than 60,000 patients are cared for and treated on 365 days each year. Thanks to extensive laboratory infrastructure and X-ray equipment, most patients can be treated on site, which also reduces the burden on the public emergency infrastructure.
Together with its new partner Genui, Permanence Marktplatz Oerlikon is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy at its existing location and through the acquisition or green-field opening of further locations in Switzerland.
What we did
The Capitalmind Investec team advised the owner of Permanence Marktplatz Oerlikon throughout the entire M&A process until the successful completion of the transaction, including:
- Preparation of business plan and marketing materials
- Identification of potential buyers (strategic and financial)
- Market approach and realization of a competitive sales process
- Preparation and support of due diligence
- Conducting price negotiations
- Support in negotiations of the legal documentation
- Coordination of all involved parties, incl. legal and tax advisors
