Arne Laarveld is a Partner at Investec’s European Business Advisory Group and a senior member of our international Technology sector team, focusing on software, digital transformation, IT and data driven services as well as industrial technology.

Arne has worked in corporate finance advisory and M&A for more than 25 years, advising founder or family-owned mid-caps, private and public international corporates as well as private equity and growth capital investors on buying, selling and financing businesses.

Before joining Investec, Arne was managing director and co-founder of boutique investment bank Equinet Bank, which represented the European Securities Network in Germany, for which he coordinated both the M&A and ECM group. Arne started his career in the corporate finance department at Dresdner Kleinwort (the investment banking division of Dresdner Bank) and served as assistant to the bank’s management board in Frankfurt and London.

Arne holds an economics degree from TU Berlin (Diplom-Kaufmann) and speaks fluent German and English.
