Capitalmind Investec acted as exclusive advisor to the financial investor GENUI and its portfolio company labor team on the acquisition of Modern-Path.
The Swiss company labor team from Goldach (SG), the fourth largest medical laboratory in Switzerland, has acquired the pathology center Modern-Path SA in Lausanne. This strategic move underlines the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in French-speaking Switzerland and further expanding its specialized pathology offering.
Modern-Path SA, a renowned pathology center in Lausanne, was founded in 2020 by Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Hanifa Bouzourene. It is one of the leading institutes specializing in gastroenterology and hepatology. The highly qualified Modern-Path employees ideally complement the Goldach pathology team in its nationwide coverage. The founder Dr. Bouzourene will remain in her current role as director to ensure continuity and to further develop the specialized pathology together with the labor team.
