Investec Advisory has advised Gorgé SA and the management team on the MBO of Vigians – a leading French fire protection specialist in sprinkler integration and maintenance

About the deal

Vigians is a leading French fire protection specialist with 35 years of expertise in sprinkler systems for complex, high-risk sites. With 16 locations nationwide, the group delivers reliable, high-value services at scale, serving both single-site and multi-site clients. Vigians provides end-to-end solutions across active and passive fire protection—from system design and integration to maintenance—covering sprinklers, water mist, and special-hazard applications. Its services are trusted by a broad base of industrial and tertiary clients requiring critical fire-safety infrastructure.

Acquired by Groupe Gorgé in 2007, Vigians has achieved fourfold organic growth under CEO Rodolphe Bassi, securing a leadership position in the French fire sprinkler market.

After two buyouts supported by the Gorgé family, Vigians’ management is partnering with Capital Croissance and BNP Paribas Développement through a third buy-out. The transaction enables the management team to become majority shareholders, with Gorgé SA reinvesting as a minority partner. This new partnership will support geographic expansion and the execution of an active external growth strategy.
