Via het NCLT-proces verwierf de Welspun-groep Sintex-BAPL. De overname werd afgerond door het consortium van Propel Plastic Products Private Limited, een volledige dochteronderneming van Welspun Corp Limited (\u201cWCL\u201d) en Plastauto Private Limited, een verbonden partij van WCL. Na de afronding van de transactie zullen beide niet-beursgenoteerde Welspun-bedrijven gefusioneerd worden in Sintex-BAPL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Over Sintex-BAPL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sintex-BAPL gebruikt kunststof als medium om innovatieve oplossingen te bieden voor bouwmaterialen (watertanks, interieurs en institutionele producten), kunststof vormdelen voor auto&#8217;s en brandstoftanks. Het bedrijf heeft een proces opgezet voor de integratie van ontwerp, engineering en productie, waarbij de kennis die op verschillende platforms is opgedaan, wordt ingezet op alle productielocaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De overname past in het strategische plan van Welspun om zijn activiteiten uit te breiden naar de bouwmaterialensector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onze rol als M&amp;A adviseur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Investec bracht de acquisitie onder de aandacht van verschillende PE-fondsen en begeleidde het bedrijf tijdens het gehele herstructurerings- en afwikkelingsproces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze transactie markeert de tweede transactie van Investec met de Sintex Group. Investec adviseerde Sintex eerder bij de desinvestering van Sintex NP (dochteronderneming in Frankrijk) aan een consortium van investeerders onder leiding van Siparex in oktober
