Kate is Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage & Origination in London, where she is focused on delivering the Bank’s Private Equity clients a range of products and services spanning M&A Advisory, direct lending at the portfolio level, lending at the fund level via fund solutions, and strategic treasury advice.

She is focused on building long-standing client relationships with European mid-market PE funds who invest across the size and sector spectrum.

Kate has had previous roles at Deloitte and finnCap Cavendish with a particular focus on sell-side M&A deals in the consumer sector. She has also spent many years on deal origination, building earlier stage long-term relationships with owners of private companies, intermediaries and investors.

Kate joined Investec 6 years ago to launch the Private Company Fundraising team, helping earlier stage businesses to raise equity growth capital.
